Snippets : Society

We feel obliged to society's standards. We acclaim being a part of society as our status. It's this constant pressure of hustling to the top, becoming the best of the best. For example, owning a luxury car is considered a status symbol in society. We are so indulged in society's norms that we live, eat and sleep constantly under pressure to satisfy others. Is this constant pressure of trying to keep up with society and comprising our health really even worth it? Society has been here way before our existence no matter how hard we try to break this cult. Rather than being tied with unrealistic standards why don't we focus on creating a change - a change for the betterment of the world?

Quote of the Day:

" To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment".

          - Ralph Waldo Emerson
